Background:

John is a trial lawyer whose practice emphasizes intellectual property, employment, banking, and business litigation, including class actions. He has won cases before juries, at bench trials, and before commercial arbitrators. John’s representative clients include the Boeing Employee’s Credit Union, Washington Mutual Bank, the Federal Depository Insurance Corporation, Labor Ready, Inc., Georgia Pacific, Unisource Worldwide, Inc. and the Safran Digital Group. Representative trial victories include Air International, LLC v. Lonesome Polecat LLC, Is. Co. Sup. Ct. case no. 02-2-00680-0, and The Christensen Firm v. Chameleon Data Corporation, US Dist Ct. W.D. WA case no. 06-cv-00337-TSZ.

John has served as a chair to the Washington State Bar Association’s Business Law Section’s Publications Committee, and previously served as chairman of the Pasadena Bar Association's panel on Bankruptcy Business & Commercial Law. An avid lover of the arts, John has volunteered as pro bono legal counsel for The Furious Theater Company, The Lineage Dance Company, and The Washington Ensemble Theater.
