Derek Linke

Background:

Derek focuses his practice primarily on intellectual property and technology matters. Derek is particularly knowledgeable about domain name issues, and compliance with Internet advertising regulations -- including the federal CAN-SPAM Act. He also advises companies on major transactions, day-to-day corporate matters, and represents them in state and federal court.

Derek is a guest lecturer at Seattle University School of Law on the subjects of copyright and advertising law. He also regularly gives talks to artists' groups on enforcing and exploiting intellectual property.
