Jessica V. Newman

Jessica’s practice focuses on the protection and management of intellectual property. She advises clients, many in the design and fashion industries, in disputes involving trademark, copyright, false advertising, general business and internet law. She assists in the selection and protection of trademarks and advises on branding issues. Jessica has a business background working in sales and marketing for consumer goods. She was a co-founder of Zevia, the best-selling natural soda in the country. There she was one of the principals and strategic managers of the company, led branding and product development, raised capital and ultimately sold the company to a private equity firm.
