The so-called “Apex Doctrine” usually protects the CEO of a big company from having to sit for a deposition. Newman LLP attorneys Derek Newman and Jason Sykes won a permanent injunction preventing use of an infringing domain name. WestCoastCorvettes.com hired Newman LLP to get the domain name from an infringing user. After the initial preliminary injunction was one, the firm won the case, without trial, on summary judgment.
