30 Jun Newman LLP Defeats Preliminary injunction and Immediately Settles Patent Case

Newman LLPattorneys Derek Newman and Nate Durrance defeated a plaintiff’s motion for a preliminary injunction in a patent infringement case. The firm defended Doc Manufacturing and Snell Crane, against a competitor, who owned a patent for a product with similar functionality to the clients’ innovative construction hoisting device. After the court denied the plaintiff’s motion to stop Newman LLP’s clients from selling their product, the case immediately settled. See Applied Dynamics International, Inc. v.
