Greg Perleberg

Greg Perleberg represents clients in intellectual property, entertainment, and technology transactions, and advises them about privacy regulations.

He manages trademark portfolios for well‐known corporations and assists emerging companies in protecting their brands. He is also the go-to guy for compliance with privacy and other regulations, and drafts internet policies and terms and conditions.

His over 25 years’ experience includes advising on film, music, publishing, endorsement/sponsorship, merchandising, live performance, e-commerce, and digital-media deals. He has assisted celebrities and athletes in protecting their names and images, including in domain-name disputes. He also develops policies and agreements to protect confidential-and-proprietary information, drafts employment agreements, and advises clients about non‐competition and antisolicitation provision enforcement.

Early in his career, Greg spent over seven years as in-house counsel at IBM, advising software-and-hardware designers, marketing-and-sales teams, and advertising agencies. Greg was also a college professor of trademark, copyright, and music publishing. And he has served as an expert witness in federal trademark trials.

Greg’s clients include software and hardware enterprises, food and beverage businesses, e-commerce companies, entrepreneurs, filmmakers, publishers, musicians, and writers.
