Selina advises clients on corporate transactions, privacy, and regulatory issues. She has represented buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions, including stock and asset purchases. She also has experience with equity and debt offerings and provides strategic advice about corporate governance and structure, enterprise organization, financings, and commercial contracts. On the regulatory side, Selina advises clients about privacy and compliance, including Europe’s GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and drafts privacy and other policies.
Before joining Newman Du Wors, Selina was a corporate attorney with Latham & Watkins for many years, where she advised corporations, partnerships, nonprofits, and accredited investors. She also worked as an estate and charitable-gift-planning attorney for Pepperdine University, a professor and associate dean at Pepperdine University School of Law, and a law clerk for the Honorable B. Lynn Winmill of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Idaho.
